The Case of Wilfrida Soik: Government Of NTT Should Be Active

The National Commission of women has employed Kupang Woman Houses (RPK) and Woman Workers forum,to pushing the provincial Governance of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and other law enforcement agencies to review the protection of human rights (HAM) for the migrant worker, Wilfrida Soik.

The reason is before proceeding further case of wilfrida soik in Kelantan court ,Malaysia on 17 November 2013, until now there has been a decision of the court on this problem.

“The presence of the Woman National Commission incorporated in three National Human Rights institutions to help encourage the Government of East Nusa Tenggara in taking a policy regarding  wilfrida. The institution is the woman National Commission,Human Rights National Commission, National Commissions of Anti Violence against women as well as Indonesian children protection Commission (KPAI), “said the Chairman of the Sub Commission of the recovery system and development of Woman National Commision,Sri Nurherwati told reporters in Kupang woman Houses office on Monday 18 Noverber 2013, at 10.30 am.

 

She said,The Governments OF East Nusa Tenggara in this regard, the Governor should be able to take a policy, in encouraging law enforcement authorities to conduct the investigation into the Company that recruit and send Wilfrida Soik worked in Malaysia.(* Hayer)

Kasus Wilfrida Soik : Pemerintah  NTT Harus Aktif

Zonalinenews – Kupang. Komisi Nasional  Perempuan menggandeng Rumah Perempuan Kupang (RPK) dan  forum Pekerja Perempuan , mendorong Pemerintah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), dan penegak hukum lainnya untuk meninjau perlindungan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) bagi pekerja migran Wilfrida Soik. Alasannya  jelang persidangan lanjutan Wilfrida Soik di pengadilan Kelantan Malaysia yang  dilakukan pada 17 November 2013 ,  sampai saat ini belum juga ada putusan tetap pengadilan tentang maslah ini.

“ Kehadiran Komnas Perempuan tergabung dalam tiga lembaga HAM Nasional membantu mendorong Pemerintah NTT dalam  mengambil suatu kebijakan soal wilfrida. Lembaga tersebut adalah Komnas Perempuan, Komnas HAM, dan Komisi Nasional  anti kekerasan terhadap Perempuan serta  Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI), “Kata Ketua Sub Komisi Pengembangan Sistem Pemulihan Komnas Perempuan, Sri Nurherwati kepada wartawan  kantor Rumah perempuan Kupang, Senin 18 Noverber 2013, Jam 10.30 Wita.

ia mengatakan, Pemerintah Daerah  NTT dalam hal ini Gubernur, harus  bisa mengambil suatu kebijakan,  dalam mendorong penegak hukum untuk melakukan penyelidikan dan menyidik pelaku yang merekrut dan menyalurkan Wilfrida Soik bekerja di Malaysia.(*Hayer)
